Somethin bout War of the Gargantuas
Okay, i've been wanting to ask this question for a very long time: has anyone besides me notice that the American version of War of the Gargantuas contains scenes not found in the japanese version? I mean, there is Tamblyn's and Tajima's talk about a dessicated hand in the elevator, scenes of Sanda's feet making long strides, a conversation concerning the theory of Cain and Abel, and other stuff. So, is this like the case with Rodan, where UPA/Maron had access to deleted scenes for their release? Seems the same case as with Frankenstein Conquers the World and King Kong Escapes too. And if so, how come no one has ever said anything about this? And does the R2 have these deleted scenes? (if it does I might actually get it
)I really wish Classic Media would do a good release, with at least two different versions of the films and deleted scenes (and a cool cover)
BTW, has anyone else noticed the Akira Kubo's character in Son of Godzilla has the same name as the reporter in Godzilla 1985?
