Yeah, but Attack of the Super Monsters is animated people and live action Dinosaurs, which really doesn't count as a complete anime.

The first thing that pops into my mind when think of animated kaiju, it would have to be Shin Getter Robo: The Last Day. It has several thousand, very cool looking alien kaiju in it.

There was one in the third Patlabor Movie: Wasted Thirteen, but the kaiju didn't really get to steal the screen.

I know there are a lot more out there, but I am drawing a blank for right now.

There is a cartoon Ultraman series. Some of us think of all animation as cartoons, no matter where the cartoon is from.

I remember an old anime named Ogon Batto (i guess as old as Kimba the white Lion and Speed Racer). It was called Fantasmagorico here in southamerica, and depicted a hero with a skull as head that battle a big number of kaiju-like monsters (i´m not sure if there was a monster each episode... memory is so tricky sometimes) . I liked that show a lot along with the show´s music... and the hero´s laugh.
