I think the reason why the giant condor didn't appear again was because he didn't have much to offer as a kaiju. I mean when you think about it he has no real abilities other than flying and couldn't even survive a hit from the Showa Godzilla (which isn't saying much). However he was a unique and interesting kaiju. As for shokiras I never could understand why it never returned, that would have been pretty cool if Kiriko would have been attacked by one while climbing on his back, oh well I guess she had enough to worry about like what would have happened had Godzilla decided to use his heatbeam.

Yeah, I mean the idea of a Giant Condor that can't even take a little heat probably wasn't popular in Japan. But it would be interesting to see angurious duke it out out with him.
