Rodan Sux0raz!.

Just kidding, while not as good as Mothra (IMHO) it's still a pretty good movie, so yes, I do like Rodan.

I think pretty much everyone here loves Rodan. The movie is a classic in either version.

And Rodan can fly faster than Mothra, just to let you know! :wink:

As a film I definitely prefer Rodan Â´56 to Mothra Â´ 61. Sadly the quality of the suits after his debut never equalled that in the first and he looked too silly to take seriously. Mothra on the other hand has always looked pretty good and I have enjoyed most of her appearances in the Godzilla series too.

I like Rodan so much that I'd actually perfer a remake of "Rodan" then another Godzilla film. I even plan to write a script for Rodan and some stories soon...

Rodan is not exactly like Godzilla. Sure they're both dinosaurs, but they're really different. He's no rip off...Rodan is unique and just one of those, "Hey, let's make a movie about a giant Pterodactyl"

Didn't need to be original. In fact, usually the most simple ideas are the best and I always enjoyed to have adventures as a child and pretend to be Godzilla, and have one of my friends play Rodan and fight at my side. (Or with me.)

Rodan rocks! My 2nd favorite kaiju. He always had personality and fought hard. He even died because he couldt live withou his mate. Really cool monster. Love the original.

When I was young, the Shogun Warriors Rodan was my favorite toy. I made my parents rent Rodan from the video store countless times. Not that I am a seasoned kaiju fan, I was very pleased to watch the original uncut Rodan with subtitles. I still love this movie, but I recently found that the "set off the dynamite" scenes are extremely long. I kept thinking I should be checking my watch; explosion after explosion after explosion -cut to some military guys- more explosions after explosions after etc. So I think that the American verson might have some of that stuff edited out, but I got rid of my dubbed version - so I can't check that.

Nice side note: A dollar theater here in Prtland played Rodan back in '97 and I took my wife to see it before we were married. Not only did she love it, but she almost cried at the end...she rocks.

No, I mean if you whatch Godzilla vs. Mothra 1964, when mothra leves with the farires, you should see here beting her wings, and I am going to look into that more.

EDIT: I also checked [url]rodansroost.com[/url] and the stats say the same thing and I don't find that a cwinsednce.
