Glad to see a person like the film as much as I do. I mean, aren't Japanese monster movies suppose to give you that fantasy feeling?. Mothra suceeded in that deparment.

Agreed, but I won't even go into that department right now! At a later date, will I fully explain my opinion of Rodan and his place in the daikaiju genre!

Definetely a cool movie. As people have already mentioned, its so different from any other kaiju movie, it was like "Well lets do another giant monster movie but lets do it a defferent way this time", and they ended up with a classic. With all the vivid colors it has a bit of a storybook feel, and the simple but good story with the clear cut greedy bad guys getting their just desserts at the end made it like a modern day fairy tale.

The funny thing was me and my little sister were watching this a couple of months ago and I looked behind me to see my Mom smiling. I asked her what she was doing, and she said "I remember watching this with my family when I was little"

*and now for the awww factor*

AWWWWWWWWWWWWW...
Isn't that sweet. :D

PS-Wha?!? The old emoticons are back?!
