The proposed cgi animated film has now been made into a 12 episode series, running 5 minutes each, aimed at children, but with some adult humor that only the Japanese could get away with, to be released on YouTube with subtitles online for free!! The first full episode, a batch of imagery, and the full details can be found in "Undead Backbrain"s exclusive article here!!:

Wow. That was disappointing.
At the same time, the short was okay for what it was. I loved the end, when he realizes how much damage he's caused and just runs away. Still..it's a shame they used the teaser they did to get people excited.
