TV spot. No kaiju, just the cast. Looks dramatic though. Starts next week (July 7th).

They aren't really competing, since MM9 is broadcast on late night. BTW, someone who worked on the series said that production on this mini-series is completely wrapped, and they are now in post production.

Check out our new article with the first TV spot teaser for the show and a new viral compilation video that we put together from 13 seperate short very cool, very mysterious, viral video teasers for the new monster show I found that were made by Kiyotaka Taguchi["G", "Gehara"]:

The viral videos give us a good idea of the various monsters we are to meet in MM9 (a yeti, green sea-growth, two rock-based beasts, and a yellow-crapping snail?), BUT being a late night tokusatsu series, and based on the said videos, I have the strong suspicion that almost all of them will be anything but proper giants.

Sure, the teaser posters states otherwise, but like Ultra Q: Dark Fantasy and Daimajin Kanon we may only get a DAI-kaiju in one or two episodes alone. And we could always use more giant monsters from Japan.

Not that I'm complaining; any new Japanese monster property beyond Godzilla and Ultraman is always welcomed, and I'd be happy to be proven wrong...but I'm being sadly realistic here.

I've had the opportunity several times to watch it, I just have been too lazy to care.

I haven't heard anything one way or another about this show since it aired. Does it actually even have any kaiju in it?
