Well the reviews are in and they're... disappointing. Turns out Demeking isn't even IN the movie except for a dream sequence when the main character gets a fever. The film itself is some high school coming of age comedy. Yup, you read that right. It sounds like it MIGHT be an interesting film, but A KAIJU FILM IT IS NOT.

How long is the "dream sequence"? Hopefully at least 5-10 minutes.
Glad to hear that the monster actually does exist though as his comet reaches our galaxy at the end of the movie!

Just saw this...wow I loved it...not an ordinary kaiju film at all and the ending just kinda came out of no where and was really open-ended but as a whole I loved this film.
Pros: The kaiju dream sequence was great! Just as good as the Always 2 sequence but longer
The film itself is nicely made with a warm, heartfelt feeling to it...abeit the film is kinda slow and it's made with a very limited budget
It's not Death Kappa
Cons:
