Ya know, the effects really aren't bad at all in this movie. It's definitely for the kids, but I got pretty much through the whole thing, though it will probably be awhile before I watch it again (if ever).
Dagahra was very well realized and I enjoyed the effects for the pyramid rising up from the sea. Mothra Leo was mostly consistent in execution (just a little weird shakiness sometimes). The Barem were great, both up close and from what I will call the "red-tide" point of view. I even liked "Fairy" and Garu-Garu II (the cgi was much better than usual when it was called for with these two).
The kids themselves wore me out, but not the whole time. Belvera had a cool nasty attitude, but Lora and Moll were kinda dull for me.

I haven't seen this movie in many years, nor do I ever want to see it again. From what I recall, there's a little Furby-looking creature who exhibits Jesus-type healing powers by pissing directly on people's wounds.

Why would you ever want to be completist? Collecting crap like the Showa Gamera series and the Mothra Trilogy seems a bit masochistic to me.
