Guilala in new US commercial ?!?

Just saw this commercial for the first time about 40 minutes ago on MSNBC, and luckily, it was on YouTube already:

Kind of ironic that Guilala, a third-rater(albeit with a great design) by Kaiju standards, is being used to shill for a "+$100K Jobs" website!

That's the coolest kaiju related thing I've seen in a long time. Nice find.

Considering the unique way Guilala was used in this, would that probably mean he was used with permission? Maybe even with the brand-new suit created for Monster X Strikes Back? I don't know the differences between the old and new Guilala to tell, myself.

I just caught this on YouTube. How bizarre. I mean, it's awesome and everything, but Guilala is such an obscure kaiju...

Also, it's nice to see an actual movie kaiju used in a commercial as opposed to just some random knock-off creature.

That wouldn't be the case; Fallon, created and produced the ad campaign, and they (who have offices in Tokyo), most likely, seeing he suit used for the of the PR for MONSTER X STRIKES BACK, employed Guilala.

Didn't see this mentioned, but there's several little comedy skits with the mini Guilala that were also done.
