Question on Rodan's speed...

Ok, this is for all you braniacs out there. Is Rodan's amazing speed at all possible considering his size, and shape, bringing into consideration the laws of physics and and areodynamics? I work on airplanes for a living (just as a mechanic) and I theorize his body is full of air bladders which function as a organic g-suit of sorts which would keep blood from pooling in either his feet or head, eliminating black-outs/ red-outs. Yes I know, he's a giant monster and is very improbable, but still I'd like to know if he could reach that speed without using and rocket fueled aided means of transportation ala Gamera.
