Fangoria's website has this tidbit about the annual kaiju fest at the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles:

Gary, thanks for posting that announcement.

Fangoria got something wrong; the Cinematheque will not be showing the original Japanese version of GODZILLA, but will instead have a rare theatrical screening of GODZILLA KING OF THE MONSTERS to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the film's release in America.
