Tough call as I think very highly of both films. Since I'm not much of a film critic I'll just say that I give a slight edge in preference to The Mysterians because of Mogera. :)

I didn't fall asleep during my first viewing of "Mysterians," which can't be said about "Battle in Outer Space." So "Mysterians" gets my vote.

oddly enough, i did fall asleep once during a viewing of the Mysterians (it was on about 2 AM, and no one had VHS back then), so BATTLE gets my vote.

Battle In Outer Space gets my vote as well. The threat of the Natals is very real, and can be seen on a global scale in addition, I felt Battle In Outer Space had a better score and the battles were just grand.
