Why I love Mothra
Posted: Thu Dec 01, 2005 10:28 pmI can understand it too, in a way. Godzilla was one of the biggest reasons that I survived cancer, IMO. When I was in the hospital (I was about 5) I watched Godzilla movies (and Homeward Bound
) over and over again. That was in 1994 and '95 or thereabouts... if I had heard that Godzilla was slated to die in Destroyah at that time, I probably would've died along with him.
To those of you who read TOHO's request for G's Walk-of-Fame star, do you know why they liscensed Goji to the American Cancer Society? My drawing in an art book.
And I'll be the first to admit that I'm a Mothra Fanboy
. I enjoy monsters fighting and blowing crap up just as much as the next guy, but deep down, I'm really a pacifist.
