Amatuer film... the Japanese call them "Indys"... proves that if you have talent, and the proper software and hardware, you can create some cool sh*t!

Hell, I have a friend that shot a 35mm feature film, which took three years to complete... take it from me, filmmaking is not easy, or for the faint of heart...[/quote]

Oh no need to mention filmmaking to me I know exactly what your saying. My bro did a script for a horror movie that we were shooting onto a digital cam and we started shooting in September of last year.I along with other friend in the movie shot almost all night one night for just 2 minutes of footage that was never used due to lighting.Talk about screwed up.Next week of shooting that we had in spare time our friend calls us 2 hours late saying his father passed away.So the project is on hold now and has been since Sept with only one half hour of good footage.I was only disappointed in the fact that Negadon looked so damn good and I thought maybe they would have it out last year..my hopes were high to see it sorry for any misconceptions.

Love the way it's set in the Showa timeline, but 25 years in the future. It's a future as seen from a '50/'60s perspective, like the old Toho flicks. Nice one!
Never thought I'd see cgi effects made to look like an old-style film either. That's very creative and different.

And those posters kick serious arse! :D

I didn't get much of a '60s Toho vibe from that trailer at all... feels more like an anime, and I can't stand anime.

The poster rocks, though!

I almost fainted when I read some of the story background. I've been wanting to make a CG Kaiju trailer for some time now and it sounded exactly like what I was thinking about doing.
Then I saw the trailer and realized...Nope. Very different from what my ideas are.

It looks fun. And they did nice job on the CG.
I don't really like the Power Rangers type characters and story. But i'm sure many people will enjoy it.
