I feel like this movie is proportionately a bigger deal to foreign kaiju fans than it is to Japanese ones. It certainly made a mark on US pop culture.

Also known in Japan as "Frankenstein's Monsters: Sanda vs Gaira," the film would become a fan favorite across the world.
