Well, I guess, even while I agree that Russ Tamblyn is what hinders WOTG, I guess I'd still prefer the story and characters of FCTW. I really WANT to like WOTG, but there's nothing that pushes it to the "ZOMG I LOVE IT" category for me.

Well, yeah, WOTG is the monster's show...but I still don't find two large hairy behemoths to be more interesting than a giant dinosaur and a mutated frankenstein child. But damn, I can't see how that relationship is more interesting than the characters in FCTW.

I can dig that but you gotta have people in these movies and when those scenes happen in WotG, they're duuuuull. Like I said, the struggle between the brothers is great but I ultimately find FCtW to be the more complete film, and therefore more satisfying.

I dunno if I ever posted in this thread properly but I think King Kong Escapes is easily my favorite Toho Sans Godzilla film. IT IS SO MUCH FUN HOMAHGAWD.

I like the dub because it syncs well with the actors' mouths, I DO like the voices (even KOOO-OOOOO-NNNNG~!), and since, like, only one of the primary cast is actually intended to be Japanese, everyone speaking not-Japanese just works. :lol:
