I want to see Daimajin fight a real foe though. I don't want it to be another remake like the other three films were of each other. Personally I wouldn't mind it if he fought a giant oriental dragon a la manda or orochi. I just want him to fight another mystical beast to show just how tough he is though.

If they made a new Daimajin film, I'd like it to be a prequel. Let us see how the giant stone statue came to be.
Actually, Dark Horse did a really nice tribute to the Daimajin in the Godzilla Color Special. Although the writers couln't outright use the Daimajin character, they did a real nice job with him and even had a cool origin subplot.
