THE BAMBOO CUTTER’S TALE (Taketori Monogatari), entitled PRINCESS FROM THE MOON in its English subtitled prints (and as KAGUYA: PRINCESS FROM THE MOON in the festival's guide) is by far the most accessible Toho fantasy film in years.
