I just rewatched Daimajin and there is something I don't understand. What or who exactly is the Daimajin? There is something about a "good god" who protects the people and also about the angry spirit of a warrior god (or warrior demon) enclosed in the statue. Which of those is the Daimajin? Or is he both of them? Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)
