Wow I remember reading about this as a kid...never seen a single frame of it though....

But apparently it was revived in Japan a few years back and is now coming out on DVD! Here is a link courtesy of Yuchiko

Wasn't there a Queen Kong in King Kong Lives? I don't remember much about that movie other than Linda Hamilton was the lead character.
