Hmm, this information seems out of date/inaccurate.. New World has been gone for awhile (pretty much everyone knows that), and the rights went to Anchor Bay in 1997/98 along with some other Goji movies (Ghidorah, SoG, Gigan, Mechagodzilla, Sea Monster & Megalon) that had been acquired as "hand-me-downs".
As we all know, those have reverted back to Toho.. and Toho put an end to any plans for Anchor Bay to release G85.
Goodtimes having the rights to Megalon? Nope. They released an unauthorized DVD of GKOTM, and almost released a double feature DVD of Megalon & Sea Monster.
As for GRA & Ghidorah.. I'd take that "recent agreement" with a big chunk of salt.. if anyone, it's probably Sony who bought them (though Media Blasters would be my next guess).

I thought Masaharu Ina didn't work at Toho's US office any more?
