We all know Godzilla Vs. Redmoon was to be filmed to celebrate Tsuburaya's 10th anniversary, but it just occured to me... why was this their plan? They're celebrating their tenth year, and what are they going to film? The ultimate showdown/team-up between Tsuburaya's greatest creations, Godzilla and Ultraman? No. They're gonna make "Godzilla Vs. Mommy and Daddy."

Ultimately, of course, it doesn't matter, but it just doesn't make sense... Don't get me wrong, I would've loved to have seen Redmoon, but I don't know why Tsuburaya wasn't planning a movie with the two titans. Just imagine them fighting a Ghidorah/Baltan tag-team...


...yes, this is the kind of stuff that pops into my head at this time of night...

Titano, it boiled down to the fact that Tsuburaya could have used the leftover suits from "Daigoro vs. Gorius" as the new monsters (Daigoro as Hanfun, Daigoro's mom as Erabus, and Gorius as Redmoon) and Toho was going to lend Tsuburaya the Musukogoji suit.

The whole script was built around reusing old suits.

Ahh... that would explain it. I knew about the DvsG suits being reused, and that Toho was going to lend them an old G suit... but I never knew the movie was based around them.

By the way, the MusukoGoji?! Yipes. I woulda figured the suit was the SoshingekiGoji. I guess the MusukoG's look fits better with Daigoro and Gorius, but still...
