Continuity Issues. Seen Any?

How many continuity issues have you seen within the several Godzilla film universes? (Showa, Heisei, etc). I'm not talking about "story continuity" as that has driven us all mad. I'm talking about continuity issues during the film-making process which differs from scene to scene. For example, you'll see a scene in which an actor is wearing something on their shirt; in the next shot, it's missing; go back to the previous shot, it's there again.

I suppose we're too much into the monster action to notice such errors but I'd like to hear if anyone has seen any.

I noticed two continuity errors (kind of) in "Godzilla vs Destroyah":

1. When Crab Destroyah is on top of Junior who is on his back on the ground, Junior lets loose with his atomic breath...and the next scene, he is standing upright.

2. After Burning Godzilla walks ashore toward the airport, there is a shot of a helicopter against daylight, moving across a smoke trail from the ground. In the very next shot, we see Godzilla and it's full night-time.

These aren't typical of what I'm asking for but I did notice them.

I have two more from Destoroyah:

The first one may have been noticed by others here. Junior gets that huge chest wound after its battle with Destoroyah but the wound disappears between shots when Junior is realized on screen through the small model in scenes with Godzilla.

The other error is very minor. The movie takes place in 1996 (confirmed in a subtitle and in a shot of a newspaper) but a display on the screen when Dr. Ijuin is analyzing the video footage of the disintegrating fish gives the date as "7/19/WED"; July 19 was a Wednesday in 1995 and a Friday in 1996. So either the citizens of Tokyo don't use the real world Gregorian calendar in this universe or someone forgot to adjust the display.

In the Japanese version of Godzilla 2000, when the UFO is flying over Tokyo, a distracted driver crashes his yellow car into the back of a stationary white car. After the driver of the yellow car exits the vehicle, the very next shot shows the exact same white car now hitting the yellow car from behind. The US version removed the shots of the driver getting out and the white car hitting the yellow car.

In Godzilla: Tokyo SOS, when Mothra grabs Godzilla's head from behind and drags him forward through the streets, Godzilla falls down from an upright position in one shot and suddenly he's sliding forward on his side in the next shot. Later, Kiryu gets knocked backward by Godzilla's atomic breath and in the very next shot Kiryu is falling chest-first into a building.

Then of course there are the times when the movies resort to stock footage and the Godzilla suits look different between shots. If you really want to get technical, that same inconsistency happens with original footage whenever Godzilla's head is shaped differently between the suits, puppets and animatronics.

But my favorite continuity issue is seeing Mechagodzilla blow up the same two city blocks three times apiece from different angles in Terror of Mechagodzilla.

Nice catches! Keep them coming.

I believe there is one in Godzilla 2000 that is called out on the commentary. When the car goes into the tunnel in the first part of the film, the character throws the car into reverse, but the car exits the tunnel frontward.
