Monster Zero x SciFi Japan - Archive Only

So, long story short, I was looking for info about the Transformers: Robots in Disguise cartoon, I've found that this was animated in Japan by Polygon Pictures, and in the wiki, among the list of anime the company is working, there was this name at the end, with a possible release date.

So, does anyone knows what Godzilla: Kaiju Prime (2016 or 2017) is? (I was looking for more info, but I've found nothing)

my best guess is that it looks like it might be an animated series.

I couldnt find anything about this anywhere. The change log shows it was added by a Godzilla fan (lots of edits to Godzilla comics and such articles... they also removed Pulgasari from the Godzilla article's "See other" section and replaced it with Pacific Rim...).. if it had come from a Polygon account i think you'd have something to go on. I want to believe, but right now i'm not seeing anything that supports this.

The last Godzilla cartoon series was made in the 1990s and featured the Tristar Godzilla, acting like his Toho namesake. This cartoon series appeared before the name change to Zilla.

How crazy is it that this turned out to be legit? Shoutout to Mexigojira as the first fan to suss out the existence of what would become 2017's Godzilla anime film.
