I am pretty sure some of you are aware of this, but a friend of mine is doing this fan film, all in stop-motion animation and is seeking funds on Kickstarter:



For those wanting to see King Kong reunite with Godzilla, here is great opportunity! Project is halfway done. We just need this final financial push to get this through.

TOHO will ax this so quick it will not be funny.

It has been a long endurance, but our non-profit fan film, “Quantum Alterations” will be kicking off in 2016! Henry, I am more than happy to PM you and send you a digital download!

However, we have one week left on the Indiegogo campaign to reach our goal and present this in a full-length uncut version of the story. Failing that, we will present a budgeted version. The goal is $6,400. We currently have $4,150. Any donations will help!

If anyone is anxious to see King Kong and Godzilla in the same movie again, you don’t have to wait until 2020.

So it's basically a non-musical version of the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny.

One could say that. However, every character here is a stop-motion puppet with the exception of Malikontor, which had to be executed via CGI.

Here is a closer pic of our brand new kaiju, Malikontor (he is the main villain of the movie). Unfortunately, because stop-motion is such a laborious and expensive process, he had to be rendered via CGI, unlike the others.

When I see that neat stop-motion Kong I can't help but feel that if Hammer had actually done that King Kong remake they toyed with doing it would have looked just like that.
