I was just curious to know if there are still huge Godzilla fans and forums in Japan much like us here on Monster Zero?

Yep, there are Huge Fans, as there always will be in Japan. As for forums... I don't know.... none that I'm aware of...

Again, what's your basis for these "facts"? Most Godzilla merchandise doesn't have a third party importer and in the rare case of SHMA, they still move more units in Japan than in the US... In Japan SHMA is carried in major stores, in the US only specialty stores or online venues.

Would they concur that there is a much higher quantity of MA figures in Japan than in the US?

^Those facts would seriously bum me out if we weren't about 7 months away from seeing a huge, new Godzilla movie in theaters.

I am really curious as to what Bandai's kids division does regarding Godzilla next year. I would not be surprised if they released the toys from Bandai of America's movie line in some capacity. I'd really like to see Ultra 500 scale Godzilla creatures though.

Anywho, some folk have a hard time accepting Godzilla is just not popular in Japan right now.

From years of hearing Japanese guests talk at G-Fest, it definitely appears that Godzilla isn't very popular over there. I've heard some of them say they feel like he's more popular here, actually.

You have a better example? I was just saying I'm sure there's stuff that's way more popular overseas that's thought of to be an "American" thing that we just take for granted.
