This kinda popped into my head earlier today, and so I thought I'd share it. It's nothing Earth-shattering, just some trivia I found interesting.

The following are Godzilla's greatest foes and allies - based solely on number of screen appearances. As one might expect, little cameos (like Rodan in Godzilla vs. Megalon or Kumonga in Godzilla vs. Gigan) are not counted.

Godzilla's Greatest Foes:

Your allies list is a little off, because some of them, their "ally" was actually an enemy in the film. Like Mothra in vs The Thing, they were enemies, not allies.

A couple extra tidbits:

All of Godzilla's other foes (Gabara, Megalon, Titanosaurus, Biollante, Mecha-King Ghidorah, Battra, SpaceGodzilla, Destoroyah, Orga, Megaguirus, Baragon, Monster X) all tie in 6th place with one movie each.

If we take appearances on Zone Fighter into account, Gigan ties with Kumonga for third place.

My personal ranking of greatest enemies (I don't rank them their # of film appearances...I rank them by my own personal tastes as to who's the most powerful/interesting/coolest foe):

1) King Ghidorah
2) MechaGodzilla
3) Gigan
4) Hedorah
5) Naah, just kidding. Actually, this may surprise some, but I will put King Kong...of course, he's not near as powerful as the likes of Destroyer, Biollante, Space G, Monster X, etc., but his historic status and fame alone as well as KKvsG's major impact on the series would put him up here.

Top 5 allies:

1) Rodan
2) Angilas
3) Mothra (Yeah, I suppose she could be an enemy as well, and I almost listed her #5 on my top enemies list).
4) Gorosaurus
5) King Seesar
