The International trailer isn't a bad idea either... 
Good guess, that first shot is indeed from Son of Godzilla. It's from the third disc of the Final Box extras, which has a bunch of cut/deleted/alternate takes from a couple of the movies. There are a few other shots from that featurette in the trailer too. Hopefully that stuff ends up on the blu-rays.

I loved the bits with Hedorah on Planet X and Rodan flying past the oil refinery from Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla '74. And reversing the shot of Anguirus falling from Destroy All Monsters to make it look like he got knocked through the air made me chuckle, hehe.
Oh, and what the heck was that dragonfly thing?
