As a kid I never really hated the 98 film and such as much as it seems others did. I understand the problems with it, and even as a kid Godzilla being taken out by missiles never sat right with me. Yet there is something that, even to this day, I appreciate about the 98 fiasco. That thing is Godzilla The Series. Now I can totally understand people disliking this, it's a cartoon, it's the Zilla design, etc... but I loved this show as a kid. I even grew to like GINO, the creators of this cartoon series got the spirit of godzilla much better than the film did.

This thread is really not meant as anything in particular except to voice praise, complaints, or just discuss this series. Why? I feel it's worth discussion because GINO association or not, it's a fun series that is light years ahead of the Hanna Barbera version.

Some of my favorite eps are
New Family 2 parter
Dead Loch
Competition
Monster War 3 parter
An Early Frost
S.C.A.L.E.
Future Shock
End of the Line
Cash of the Titans

My early childhood consisted of Showa Godzilla, and then as I reached 9, 10, 11 I pretty much just watched these and the Heisei series. Loved this show, I just wonder how the members of this board feel about it.

This show was so awesome. Rehardless of how you felt about the 98 movie, the series did a great job of picking up after the movie and bring the American Godzilla closer to the Japanese Godzilla we all know and love. plus it gave us some pretty awesome monsters, and several of them were precursers to the monsters in the 2000's series of G films.
