Thanks for all the info guys. The piece of tape trick didn't work. I'm getting a new computer within in the next few months, so maybe I'll try the video capture card idea when I do.

I actually found one of my old Godzilla Bash tapes over the weekend while scavenging for work-friendly VHS movies over at my parents' house. Such great memories. I miss Monstervision so much.

Oh man, I forgot about this! Monstervision's Godzilla Bash in '94 was what cemented my fandom. I saw WPIX's airing of G'85 that January (I think), which got me hooked, but had been kinda let down when my dad rented Terror of Mechagodzilla from the local video store (it was YEARS before it grew on me). Luckily, MonsterVision happened almost immediately afterward! I recorded the whole thing, and that was my real introduction to Showa era Goji.

Man, I wonder if I still have that tape laying around?
