Mothra took a pretty bad thrashing before Godzilla and Rodan came to the rescue in Ghidorah, but nothing really compares to the climactic mugging at the end of Destroy All Monsters.

Does Ultraman count? Cuz that guy is an ass. He'll beat even the most charming and innocent monsters within an inch of their lives. Like poor Seabous who just wanted to go back home... got his ass beat, was tied to a rocket and launched into space, where he's stuck floating around on said rocket. Or that really heavy monster (can't think of the name) that got a pump shot into his rectum (no lie), was inflated, floated into the sky and was shot down by planes doing target practice. And poor Gabadon who didn't harm a soul and got killed and turned into a star, making dozens of children cry.

I'm thinking Megalon. Ridiculous abuse. Worse than Mr. Black in Reservoir Dogs with the whole ear thing. They should have played Stuck in the Middle With You when Goji and Jet Jaggar were f'in Megalon up.
