Hey Armand, I know Mr. Nakajima did a G-Fest in '08, but what do you think his chances are of returning? I feel like an idiot for not getting a chance to meet Godzilla himself and I hope he'll come back for another convention soon, but I understand if health concerns keep him from doing that.
Anyway, I hope he has a great birthday and new year!

The man who played most of Toho's classic monsters during the Golden Age of Japanese Cinema turns 81!

Can we also use this thread to ask why Gred Shoemacher stopped publishing "Japanese Fantasy Film Journal"?
Seriously though, part of the reason why Godzilla became my hero back when I was a kid was because of movies like Godzilla vs the Smog Monster, and watching Nakajima's wonderful performance as the monster in that and other films. No one has been able to give Godzilla the personality Nakajima has. And on his 81st birthday I wish him all the best!
