I went to Hibiya District of Tokyo to finally see the Godzilla statue on Christmas. Now, you'd would expect the Godzilla statue to have maybe a Santa hat on since it's Xmas...instead, it had this:





This is peak time for flu season, so I believe this was for "influenza" awareness... :dunno: :goofy: Maybe Toho is planning on having him battle the Flu in their next G film...."Godzilla's greatest enemy ever...a very high fever with vomiting!" :lmfao:

I knew it! I just found out that this is an advertisement for Toho's next Godzilla movie: Godzilla X Hedora: Virus Attack Scenario. It's being released next December!

See, you all thought he wasn't coming back. But I knew better! Thank you, Toho. The king shall awaken! Now what other monsters do you think will be in it? I'm hoping for Bagan.

The "surgeons mask" (whatever it is called) tends to be the big thing to wear in Japan if you are sick. I wish that was a common courtesy in the US. I love going to work and it sounds like I am in the waiting room at a hospital and nobody covers their mouth when they cough.
