Even though I don't have anything to add, I just had to post to say that all of you guys are very funny and this is very excellent.

-The Earth can be moved by giant rockets set up at the South Pole.
-Standard postal mail can be sent to ancient undersea kingdoms.
-The explosive force of dynamite, while deadly to human beings, causes no damage to windows or balconies.
-If a coal truck suddenly raises off the ground, twirls around, and comes crashing down on top of another vehicle, it is likely that a monster came out in search of food.
Not Godzilla, I know, but they fit well enough.

When you have a giant robot with a dead monster's skeleton inside it, nobody really notices that you've developed 30-meter-long jets which can take off and land vertically and hold their position in the air.
