Does someone have the answer?

Back when I was about 8 years old....about 1980, I recall there was a line of paperback books, all rather thin as I remember that spotlighted movie monsters. There was one about Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman, King Kong (I think) and Godzilla. All the pictures were in black and white, but it told the history of Godzilla movies and had cool production stills and behind the scenes stuff including the first time I had ever seen a person standing next to the actor in the suit, I believe it was Honda from the set of KKvG, but since it's been 27 years, I am foggy.

Anyway, does anyone remember this collection and the name they had. I doubt I could find them, but it would be cool if I could.

That sounds like the "Monsters" series by Ian Thorne. I loved the Godzilla book and checked it out from my elementary school library all the time. I read some of the others, and they were pretty cool too. Of course, looking back, I believe there's some misinformation present, but still an insanely fun book for a kid who's into Godzilla.
