Monster Zero x SciFi Japan - Archive Only

This new "Google Trends" thing is pretty nifty... Type in a word and it gives you graphs of the item's popularity. Pretty cool.

So anyway, I did a comparison between "Godzilla" and "ゴジラ" and this is what I found:







According to this it seems like Goji's more popular over here than in his native country... Kinda sad, if maybe not surprising at this point.

In any case, it was interesting to see it in graph form.

I was talking to a Japanese guy, at college, and he said that in Japan, Godzilla is seen as too old.
