Godzilla meets his worst enemy yet, the AAA, anonymous ape alcoholic.

Looks like King Kong is having a really bad hangover all the time, Godzilla's looks here don't appeal me and the nameless giant octopus was the best looking monster. Damn. Lots of good effects but all credibility goes to toilet when the monsters appear. As for the US/UN bits edited in... The Japanese seem to be in it for laughs and little romantic excitement, the Americans seem to be making the most serious document film in the known history. At least the showdown at the end was hilarious and fun and... all good things.
If you don't know who won the fight I won't spoil it for you :P .

BTW does anyone know anything about this?

Next. Godzilla vs. The Thing. Hey, look at them go!

Watched Godzilla vs. the Thing.

Great FX. Good story. Kenji Sahara as a bad guy. Wonderful. The environmental point is not at all forced. My favorite Godzilla movie. Dunno what else to say.

And now to Ghidrah the 3-Headed Monster.

Godzilla saves the day!

Godzilla turns to goodness and niceness and smiles and tells jokes. Yea! Monster fights rule in this one. Godzilla vs Rodan can only be topped by Godzilla, Rodan & Mothra vs. King Ghidorah. All monsters are powerful and the humour is kept in a leash. Not too much silliness. Small role by Takashi Shimura, we could have had him in more Godzilla films. And my favorite: the unhappy love story playd very subtly. This was the third Godzilla I ever saw and the first I actually liked. Hope we get a good dvd release some day.

Now watching Monster Zero.

Godzilla vs. Titanosaurus

Introduction of Titanosaurus. Last Godzilla for Inoshiro Honda. Budget is low but is made to use. I like the story, the unhappy love affair, Godzilla movies could have these even more, if you ask me. Great action, big explosions!!!

Now I have almost watched Return of Godzilla also.

Return of Godzilla

Oh man am I tired. I fell asleep for an hour. Watched the ending. Still great. Godzilla's evil again and all is well. Pity I fell asleep. Shame on me.

Next watching Godzilla vs. Biollante. With the most badly timed subtitles in the world.

I must be coming old. I can't continue. My record is from '02 when I watched 25 Godzillas in a row. Now I could hardly reach 16. I'll try again sometime... Bye...

Well at least he didn't get to the Millenium Series which features three Godzilla movies which go nowhere, one which is a rehashed version of Godzilla vs. Mothra, one of the best Godzilla films of all time, and Godzilla's 50th Anniversary movie.
