I've not seen Varan yet so I won't vote, but I thought I'd voice my opinion of GRA at least. I've only seen GRA in the American Gigantis the Fire Monster version and I honestly enjoy it quite a bit. Like Gojira/Godzilla it has a strong human story, and I think it interacts nicely with the monster sequences [doesn't feel like your flipping between two different movies]. GRA is definitely in my favorites list of G-movies.

Both films have their merits and really are pretty good movies, however, Godzilla is a MUCH, MUCH, MUCH cooler kaiju than Varan EVER was so "Godzilla Raids Again" gets my vote!

I liked both movies, but I think Godzilla Raids Again is better. I thought Varan was more predictable. I like the city destruction scenes more in "Godzilla Raids Again". The miniatures looked better IMO.
