That's because we brought him to Burbank, John! We actually arranged all of the celebrity photo ops, by either telling said celebs that we'd like them to meet Mr. Nakajima, or they came by our table (oft times, people can't get away from their tables, but most were excited to do so for Mr. Nakajima). Anyway you cut it, it was fantastic to arrange these — Ricou Browning was one of the big ones I wanted to see happen because they both played legendary monsters in 1954. There was so much love for Mr. Nakajima, he was overwhelmed, really — and he and his daughter had a great time! These two shots kind of sum up the trip:

Here are some of the people you'll find just walking around Monsterpalooza:

i hate to sound like a jerk but, do we need every pic from the monsterpalooza festival posted TWICE?

also, this one doesn't have anything Godzilla-related in it, unlike the Nakajima pics...

Jellydonut: Not every photo posted here has Godzilla in it (most are crap, and some are just slightly related). Plus, not everyone looks in the Monsterpalooza thread, because they have lives; and the heading is "cool pictures", no? I didn't know there were so many restrictions to posting in this thread. So, how is this particular photo related? Abrams was the producer of CLOVERFIELD, a Godzilla knock-off, and is the writer-director of the upcoming "giant" monster movie, SUPER 8. I'd say that's related.

By the way, by your estimation, can you tell me how this is related, then?

(Plus, I've posted plenty of great movie stills in this thread, and you haven't contributed a photo since Page 23, IIRC.)

I don't think anyone's shared this yet:

While I wouldn't exactly call it "cool," it's...erm...interesting nonetheless.

The pic of just Godzilla below the one where he's stepping on Minya's tail...is that FROM anything?

likewise the one below the pic of Varan...

one kinda looks like G2K but there is artistic license being taken with a lot of the designs, they could just be random pics of Godzilla for all I know...
