In honor of the late Elizabeth Taylor, the Lexington Herald-Leader printed an article on the legendary star's 1956 trip to Danville, Kentucky to shoot portions of the Civil War film Raintree County. The city of Danville held a parade to welcome her, pictured here:

Here's a look at our exclusive HARUO NAKAJIMA color 8x10, available at MONSTERPALOOZA next weekend! The original photo, owned by Greg Shoemaker (editor of the legendary 'Japanese Fantasy Film Journal'), was published in 'Famous Monsters' #114 back in 1975, and I recently commissioned FM cover artist Bill Selby to colorize it!

That's why I had to use it; the emotional and nostalgic connection to it is very strong for me, and a lot of other fans from the 1970s, who bought that issue of FM, back in the day.
