Who actually wasn't expecting an overwhelming positive review.

James isn't a Godzilla fan. He just likes crazy combat and crap blowing up. So no wonder brain-numbing trash like FW is right up his alley. He even likes Kaiser Ghidora. Predictable.

So he actually thinks it'd be a good idea if they made a new movie focusing on the people and not the monsters? That's funny because he never touched on the "people" aspect in any of the films save FW. He mentions Always 2 and the IMAX film (which I doubt is happening now) but I doubt he has any knowledge about movies like Gamera the Brave and Guilala, which bombed big time. I don't think he has any idea that the giant monster movie genre is dead as a doornail in Japan. Shame.

Final Wars is a really entertaining movie, but I think it could have been better. But really fun review. And he's right. Godzilla vs. King Kong vs. Gamera would be friggin epic!!!!

As for his top ten, it was pretty close to mine. I had DAM & TOMG instead of KKvG & FW, but other than that I agree with all his selections.

Unlike most people here, I don't get all uppity just cause he didn't like a movie that I liked. I just watch this for enjoyment. I hate Final Wars too. I'd rather eat the rotten "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" of a roadkill skunk and down it with beer than to watch Final Wars again.
