it's sung by Lily Sasaki. as far as Chris Elam, well, he's a great guy and pretty well respected in fandom circles. do some research under "Owari" as well.

I've always loved that music that plays during the title card sequence for the American version of King Kong vs Godzilla.

I always liked the opening title sequences in Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. We get a glimpse of a ravaged King Ghidorah, and think "damn, he's dead already?" Ifukube's music is perfect. Then we hear the voice-over...

"King Ghidorah fought Godzilla?"

"Yes...in the 20th century"

BAM! the screen lights up with the title card, Godzilla's roar blasts over the sound system, followed by Ifukube's majestic music. Brilliant opening sequence.

I think GMK's title credit is terrific. I was disappointed when it had an art-less English overlay on the R1 disc. :(

Monster Zero and GMK are tops for me. MZ because of the amazing "saucer music" and the aura of oncoming weirdness (does that make any sense), and GMK because it reminds me of The Valley of Gawngi, which has the coolest opening credits ever.
