See the title. Gojira beat Return of the Jedi, The Thing (both of em), Ghostbusters, THX, Terminator 2, Invisible Man, the Matrix, the Day The Earth Stood Still, and others. Remember this is the top 100 Sci Fi movies based on the ratings of professional critics. That's damn impressive. Eat that, Ebert.

ANd on a related note, #8 is the Host on that list (which is... weird.)
