I saw a performance of The Graduate at the Maverick Theatre (a fun little back-alley, off-off-Broadway-type hole in the wall) in Fullerton a few days ago, and they had a poster for "Giant Green Lizard: The Musical". The host for the night, when mentioning upcoming events, rather tongue-in-cheekly made reference to the fact that it was not about Godzilla. I happened to get a flyer from my art teacher a few weeks ago for the Maverick, and on it they list "Godzilla: The Musical". Seems pretty clear L.A. Toho finally brought the hammer down on the name issue.
