Rodrigo Infanta finally identified

Turns out the unbilled actor playing United Nations News correspondent Rodrigo Infanta from Chile is Víctor Millán, the Hispanic John Rhys-Davies of his time. Born in 1920, he has appeared in 61 credited rolls according to the IMDB, including Scarface and Touch of Evil. I can’t believe it took fandom 43 years to figure out who this actor was.

I was watching The Big Valley one day and noticed he had a small speaking part but did not receive any credit. Undaunted, I watched a few more episodes until he had a more prominent role and was credited at the end. Seems like everyone and their mom was on The Big Valley at one point including Rhodes Reason (playing a totally badass villain), Keye Luke, Mako, Regis Philbin, John Carridine, Leslie Nielson, Dennis Hopper, Bradford Dillman, Dan O’Herlihy, Yaphet Kotto, etc, etc.

For the two people that care, voice-actors Jed Allen who performed the English dialogue for Yosuke Natsuki in Ghidrah the Three-Headed Monster and Virginia Gregg who did Kumi Mizuno in War of the Gargantuas also made appearances on the show, among many others!
