Preach. Dammit, it pisses me off seeing people complain about MST3K's treatment of films. Personally, I think it is a great way to show RESPECT for the films. Joel and the Bots made something already enjoyable even more enjoyable. Besides, if you take these to be excellant films I think you are missing the point anyway. They are not good films, but fun children's films for a laugh and a good time anyway.

I liked watching Invasion of the Neptune Men, when Krankor from prince of space returned and they were like "we didn't now how good we had it with you!" and all that stuff. They also made referances to gamera, godzilla, and all the better japaneses films they saw.

You know,I bust on everything I like,not just kaiju movies. Anime,comics,kaiju films,music,all my interests. Gamera's great,and we all love him. Most of us anyway. But it's not a throwback to the Shakespeare tragidies. It's a big turtle who beats up monsters and saves scantily clad little boys. In other words,it's funny. Seeing the flaws in something and loving it a little more because of them,not in spite of them,is what makes you a true fan.
