Gamera Vs. Leoman?

One of Stuart Galbraith's books mentions that after Gamera Vs. Zigra, Daiei was preparing for another film called Gamera tai Leoman before they went bankrupt.

Is there any information out there about this aborted project besides the title? I'd really like to add it to my site. Appreciate any help on this.

I've only ever read about this in Glut's book, many years ago.

speaking of Glut, is he accessible online? I'd like to talk to him about a couple of things.

After Gamera vs Zigra, Daiei DID plan a movie called Gamera vs Garasharp which was never made. I'm still curious where the Leoman name came from.

Sorry for such a Necro post, but I inherited this book from my dad. It's from "A Pictorial History of Science Fiction Films" by Jeff Rovin. For years I wondered what Leoman was, but eventually settled on the idea it was an incorrect reference to Gamera vs Zigra. Of course prior to the internet, Sci-Fi books were basically the wild west, as far as accuracy with foreign cinema. Things aren't perfect now, but at least more accurate than they used to be.
