While we are discussing the possibilities of a GAMERA 4, does anyone know if they actually plan on making one?
Has Daiei mentioned anywhere that a Gamera 4 was going to be made anytime soon? I know they were kicking around a DaiMajin movie but I have yet to hear a Gamera 4 being close to being confirmed.

Indeed Megaloman, G3 gave us all we needed. That Gamera will always fight for the earth forever, even alone.
The last speech by Asagi always gets to me, it's very emotional and a perfect ending to the series.
All a 4th film would bring is more spfx at the cost of the story.

Never posted anything about Gamera before, but I had thought it would be neat to update Barugon and Jiger. Somekind of scenario where an enemy civilization to that which created Gamera created 2 super monsters from dinosaur DNA and they awaken soon after Gamera 3 took place. But that would probably be too much of a rehash of Gamera: GOTU. I even thought up a kooky title: "Gamera 4 - Force of the Xenosaurs"

It would be pretty cool if Daiei hired Kitamura to direct the newer Gamera series.
