Okay, I've got a few, since I just watched the original film today.

First, the driver who shouts "He's ahead of us!" (or something to that effect) and proceeds to drive right into Gamera's foot. Second, the Z Plan is said to exist for purely peaceful scientific purposes and has no bearing on the fight against Gamera, but when it's implemented, it appears to be tailor-made to the situation. And, as an aside, the dubbing on the Celebrity VHS (the copy I watched today) has some real shiners, including the old farmer's reaction to seeing Gamera (I had no idea Bokuzen Hidari was in the movie!) and character names like "Catherine" and "Alex."

But yeah, the whole series is pretty much an extended "WTF" moment.

Well you might as well just include the whole darned Z Plan cause that might just be one of the most preposterous things ever implemented for the purposes of putting it on a movie....they very reason I didn't think much of some of Gamera's films as a kid were things like the Z plan...but these days some of my favorite moments in the Showa Gamera series stem from these very things...funny how things work out sometimes
